The company “Expediciones Nueva Aventura” offers a variety of tourist packages in the southeast regions of the Department of Potosi, in vast landscapes of mountains, deserts, salt flats and coloured lagoons spread among the mountains of the occidental range. There are a variety of ecosystems, e.g. the protected site of Laguna Colorada with Andean, Chilean and Jamesi flamingos and other birds.

In this region there are also sites of archaeological and anthropological interest, e.g. the domain of the Lípez and the Atacama culture, with fortresses of stone (pukaras), agricultural terraces, Inca trails, and colonial churches and mines.


The tourist packages include walks on trails, visits to archaeological sites, the Salar de Uyuni, mountain climbing on extinguished volcanoes.


Hotel reservations and connections to other parts of the country are made and ample information of other tourist regions with cultural and natural attractions is offered. Connections to San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) are possible, too. The packages are designed together with the visitor.
